Hello, I’m Tim @Carpenter24. I design and build beautiful and individual green oak porches, diverse timber frame buildings and timber structures for discerning homeowners. From consultation to completion I pride myself on my committed customer service and the highest standards of craftsmanship. With your vision for your home as our starting point your porch will be designed and cut as a bespoke, one-off project. I will take care of everything for you: permissions and notifications, design, foundations, wall and roof framing- and topping-out with a hand-cut slate roof covering.

“Traditional heavy carpentering is a classic trade and a fulfilling way to make a living. At the end of a day of lifting, levelling, plumbing and scribing heavy greenwood timbers- and marking-out and cutting them to fine tolerances- the woodworker is physically and mentally drained- and content. Framing with greenwood timbers is as old as the hills and the skill-set needed for working the wood is timeless too. Traditional skills go hand-in-hand with old fashioned principles of respect, trust, hard work and quality. Daily, these are the standards I strive to uphold.”
